THE 5TH POSITION METHOD
The method is a concept of a ballet inspired workout program including floor barre that guides us to reconnect with ourselves. Body awareness is the fundamental key concept in the method and the program has been created on the kinesiology concept with a main focus on the musculoskeletal system. This dance kinesiology method is designed to help dancers and athletes better understand their bodies and enhance their performance, both aesthetically and technically.
We maintain a constant investigation of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, to offer a complete and fundamental guide in strength conditioning, injury management, breathing techniques, and much more.

Combining Ballet and gymnastics exercise to provide a strengthening full body work out.
Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, Victoria Vargas has more than 40 years of experience as a professional dancer and instructor.
Her roles and responsibilities include training teachers in the discipline of Ballet through kinesiology.
Among her many accolades as a teacher, she is the creator of the 5th Position Method, a recognized Floor Barre concept among professional ballet dancers and the young and emerging generation.
In Asia, this method has been approved as a registered injury prevention and recovery therapy.
Victoria has been a frequent enthusiastic guest teacher in many national and international ballet schools. Besides changing dancers for the better with her dynamic inspiring teaching style, she is dedicated to training teachers in the discipline of ballet instruction through kinesiology, utilizing her long years of experience as a professional dancer. Her created The 5th Position Method, a widely recognized floor barre concept among professional ballet dancers and the young emerging dance generation. The 5th Position Method is a training that awakens physical awareness.
In the words of Ms. Vargas herself, “Teaching is the greatest personal reward”; She has been privileged to have taught in many established organizations with young aspiring dancers across the globe including
US, Mexico, Panama, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Holland, Hong Kong, Philippines.

Victoria has received fine recognition in recent years for her dance work. In 2019, she was honored with the Ballet Master for China’s annual “Famous Teacher Award”. Following that, she was presented the “Outstanding Teacher Award” by Hong Kong Ballet Group in 2020. In 2021, she was awarded the “Distinctive Teacher Award” by the Hong Kong Ballet group and nominated for four other awards in Taiwan. She won the “Group Exercise Leader of the Year”, “Specialized Gym/Studio of the Year”, “Trailblazer of the Year” and “Inspiring Community Campaign of the Year”. Her creation “The 5th Position Method” earned a national award for rehab and injury prevention. She won The Vanguard Category, given by “Fitness Best Asia”, an honorary award that recognizes individuals who have impacted the community by inspiring creative change. These awards made 2021 one of Victoria’s best years in terms of collective achievements.
